I paint flowers on antique paper with natural pigments and gold leaf, from ateliers in Siena and Montepulciano. If you'd like to exhibit my work, I'd love to hear from you.
The work
Rooted in place and memory
I paint on handmade and antique paper using pigments from saffron, Montepulciano wine, coffee, and tea — diluted with rainwater I collect in Siena. I apply gold leaf by hand.
Every piece is unrepeatable.
